CUA to Celebrate ?The Year for Priests?: 4-6-09 Very Rev. David M. O?Connell, president of The Catholic University of America, announced today that the university will celebrate ?The Year for Priests? (June 19, 2009-June 19, 2010) with a two-day symposium titled ?Ministerial Priesthood in the Third Millennium: ?Faithfulness of Christ, Faithfulness of Priests?? on Oct. 6-7, 2009. Pope Benedict XVI declared a year for priests in an effort to encourage a deepening of the spiritual life of those called to priestly ministry. See story.
