Keith Donohue, a 2002 alumnus of The Catholic University of America, will be giving the first reading from his debut novel, "The Stolen Child," May 8 at his alma mater. Doubleday is publishing his first novel in May, with an initial print run of more than 45,000 copies. His novel also is contracted to Jonathan Cape, another major publisher, in Britain, and is being translated into Italian, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese.

Donohue received his Ph.D. in English from CUA in 2002.
