Video Features CUA Students Talking about Papal Visit

The Catholic University of America has produced a video featuring students sharing their thoughts about the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to CUA on April 17. The video showcases more than 10 young men and women who range from freshmen to seniors answering the question, “How do you feel about the pope coming to visit Catholic University?”

In the coming weeks, CUA will post additional videos of students answering different questions about the visit.

Also recently added to CUA’s Papal Visit Web site are two links featuring vintage footage of Pope John Paul II’s visit to CUA in 1979. Footage of his speech outside the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and at CUA’s old gymnasium (now the Crough Center) are available.

A video featuring staff remembering Pope John Paul II’s 1979 visit was posted several weeks ago. To view all the videos, go to CUA’s Papal Visit Web site at http://papalvisit.cua.edu/videos/.
