Catholic University's Department of English presents a fall 2008 poetry reading by Stephen Cushman, Robert C. Taylor Professor of American Literature at the University of Virginia.

Cushman is the author of three books of poetry: "Heart Island," "Cussing Lesson" and "Blue Pajamas." He is also the author of several scholarly texts, including "Fictions of Form in American Poetry." Cushman will be reading poems from "Heart Island" and his forthcoming book of poems, "Riffraff."
