Catholic University's Salve Regina Gallery hosts Washington, D.C., area artist Ruth Bolduan's exhibit "Go Go Rococo" now through Oct. 3.

Bolduan, a longtime resident of the D.C. region, is an associate professor in the painting and printmaking department of Virginia Commonwealth University. She has described her work as "part of the continuum of iconographic significance which comprises the history of art," blending the influences of both Eastern and Western cultures.

She classifies her painting style as "Neo-Byzantine Classical Pop." Bolduan's latest works reveal her interest in and recent travels to the Mediterranean and China.

Bolduan's work will be on display now through Oct. 3, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
