Discussion: "Islam and the 'Other': The View of an Israeli Muslim Cleric"

Ghassan Manasra, imam and sheik of the Qadiri Sufi Center, director of the Muslim peace center Anwar Il-Salaam, and teacher of Sufi philosophy and Islam, will lead a discussion titled "Islam and the 'Other': The View of an Israeli Muslim Cleric." Manasra is visiting with CUA's School of Theology and Religious Studies Institute for Interreligious Study and Dialogue through the Center for Global Education and the Fulbright Interfaith Community Action Program. He is currently working on a master's degree in Arabic literature and language at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and has published and led conferences on Muslim-Christian dialogue.
