CUA Hosts Events in Honor of Constitution Day
In honor of Constitution Day on Sept. 17, The Catholic University of America hosted a series of film screenings and will host several lectures.
Constitution Day was established by Congress in 2004 to mark the anniversary of the last day of the Constitutional Convention — Sept. 17, 1787 — when 39 of the 55 delegates signed the draft constitution.
The Columbus School of Law showed several films related to the historic document on Sept. 17. For a list of the films that were shown, click here.
The Office of Campus Activities is also sponsoring a series of lectures to mark Constitution Day. Dates, speakers and other details about the lectures follow.
