Washingtonian Ranks Social Work Faculty among Area’s Best Mental Health Professionals

Five faculty members from The Catholic University of America’s National Catholic School of  Social Service were listed among the best mental health professionals in the July 2009 issue of Washingtonian magazine.

Associate Professor Cathleen Gray was listed as one of the area’s best in the area of marriage and family counseling as well as in separation and divorce. Visiting Assistant Professor Eileen Dombo was ranked as one of the best in the area of domestic violence and abuse.

Three part-time faculty members also made the list. Britt Rathbone ranked among the top therapists in the areas of group therapy and counseling to troubled adolescents. Jennifer Weaver was listed as one of the best in counseling troubled children. Daniel Wilson was named one of the area’s top grief counselors.

“This recognition acknowledges the outstanding reputation of our clinical social work faculty,” noted James Zabora, dean of the National Catholic School of Social Service.
