The Division of University Communications works to enhance the awareness of The Catholic University of America by communicating the accomplishments of its students, faculty, and staff.

By offering professional communications support, the office acts as a liaison between the University, the media, and the general public, and works to build pride in Catholic University and its people, programs, research, teaching, and events.

The University Communications staff gathers and publicizes news about the University and its community through printed publications and use of the University website, electronic newsletters, and social media.

The office is a full-service communications resource, providing the schools of the University with writing, editing, graphic design, marketing, photography, and advertising services.

In its media relations efforts, the office identifies and distributes the University’s news, responds to press requests, and promotes faculty experts.

The Division of University Communications is committed to supporting the identity of The Catholic University of America by effectively communicating to internal and external audiences.
