About Public Affairs
The Office of Public Affairs works to enhance the awareness of The Catholic University of America by communicating the accomplishments of its students, faculty and staff.
By offering professional communications support, the office acts as a liaison between the university, the media and the general public, and works to build pride in CUA and its people, programs, research, teaching and events.
The Public Affairs staff gathers and publicizes news about the university and its community through printed publications and use of the CUA Web site, electronic newsletters and social-media Web sites.
The office is a full-service communications resource, providing the 12 schools of the university with writing, editing, graphic design, marketing, photography and advertising services.
In its media-relations efforts, the office identifies and distributes the university’s news, responds to press requests and promotes faculty experts.
The Office of Public Affairs is committed to supporting the identity of The Catholic University of America by effectively communicating to internal and external audiences.
