Engineering Casimir J. Bonk, B.A.E. 1950, of Claremont, Calif., is the author of the book, What If…? In a Rental Car: A Guide to the Meaning of Life (Trafford Publishing). It’s a guide to searching for spiritual identity and the meaning of life: What is life all about? Where am I going? The book takes the reader on an imaginary auto trip in search of the answers. Bruce Cranford Jr., B.S.E. 1967, of Potomac, Md., was awarded the 2003 Marvin Demler Award for advancing education in science and engineering. The award is given by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Capital Section. Michele F. Cyr, B.C.E. 1997, completed her Ph.D. in civil engineering at Northwestern University in 2003. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she is working for Exponent, an engineering consulting company that specializes in failure analysis. Mohammed Daha, M.C.E. 1990, has become president of the corporation Medisnet in Fez, Morocco. The company is involved in civil engineering, import-export and real estate. Joyce Luncher Hale, B.B.E. 1997, is pursuing a master’s degree in counselor education at the University of Southern Maine. She and her husband, Rob Hale, and daughter, Molly, 3, live in Cumberland, Maine. |
