Meet Your Alumni Office Student Assistants...

Student assistants in the alumni office. Each week 10 Catholic University students stride into the Office of Alumni Relations with big smiles on their faces and heavy book bags on their shoulders. They are student assistants, part of the work-study program at CUA, and they love interacting with alumni. They are an integral part of the alumni relations team and its mission, and add a vibrant energy to our office.

Call the alumni relations office and most days the chances are very good that you will speak with one of these bright and friendly students. They enjoy chatting with alumni from all over the country, especially those from their own home states. Their goal is to help CUA alumni stay connected to their university and each other, and they work very hard to achieve that goal.

On a typical day they might call CUA alumni to invite them to an upcoming event, take event reservations over the phone and answer a myriad of alumni queries, all between classes, homework and exams. In a very few years, you might meet them in the workplace as architects, nurses, politicians, teachers, journalists and filmmakers. They are CUA students, alumni relations student assistants and future alumni, and they are invaluable!
