Lorna Michele Orndorff, M.S.W. 1996, was promoted to the rank of captain in the Army Medical Service Corps. As a social work officer, she provides rehabilitative counseling services to inmates at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., the only maximum-security prison under the Department of Defense.

Wice, a nonprofit cultural and educational association based in Paris, France, held an art opening for Michele A. Linnen, M.S.W. 1997. The collection of black-and-white photographs in her “My Face Tells a Story” exhibition depicts men and women of Germany’s rural Eifel region. Linnen has lived in Germany for the past four years but is now making London her home.

Denise J. Rathman, M.S.W. 2000, is a senior program manager for the Washington, D.C., office of Grassroots Solutions, a Minnesota-based firm that focuses on engaging, organizing and mobilizing people.
