15 Ways … to Stay Engaged With Your Alma Mater

You spent some of the best years of your life here, so don’t lose the connection. Stay involved and make sure Catholic University doesn’t lose what made it special to you and your friends.

  1. Join the online community at www.cuatoday.com and visit it often.

  2. Volunteer at an alumni event — a great way to meet everyone!

  3. Plan a reunion for a group or a team you were involved in as a student. The alumni office will help.

  4. Support scholarships for current CUA students by making a gift to the Annual Fund.

  5. Connect with fellow business professionals at an alumni relations-sponsored executive networking lunch.

  6. Come back to campus for Homecoming and Reunions Weekend in the fall.

  7. Join the Board of Governors, the Senators Club, the Young Alumni Club or the Golden Cardinals.

  8. Locate and contact fellow alumni (using www.cuatoday.com).

  9. Join the Travel Club and explore a new country.

  10. Cheer on the Catholic University Cardinals at a sporting event.

  11. Drop in at a CUA alumni chapter event in your hometown.

  12. Share photos of your family and CUA pals on www.cuatoday.com — and update your profile while you’re there.

  13. Recommend the university to prospective students: Tell them what a special place it was for you.

  14. Support an incoming CUA freshman or transfer student by nominating him or her for an Alumni Grant and telling him or her about the Parish Scholarship program.

  15. Host an alumni event in your area.
