Edward J. Pryzbyla Award to Be Given

This special award is conferred during the Hall of Fame ceremony to recognize an individual who has rendered extra-ordinary service and support to CUA’s athletic program. The award for 2007 will go to James M. Shrode, B.A. 1961, of Huntington Beach, Calif., who has been a consistently generous supporter of CUA athletics and was also a major benefactor to the Competitive Edge Campaign for Cardinal Athletics. An outstanding pitcher and .400 hitter on CUA’s baseball team, he played professional ball for four years.
