Homecoming and Reunions Weekend, Oct. 10–11, 2008, is only a few months away. CUA’s alumni staff, along with your classmates, have been busy planning
a full calendar of events to make sure the weekend is packed with fun, excitement and memories to last a lifetime.
The weekend starts on Friday night with a welcome dinner for our 50-year returners — the class of 1958 — while the classes of ’63, ’68, ’73, ’78, ’83, ’88, ’93, ’98 and ’03 will gather that evening at the Capitol City Brewing Company next to Union Station.
The tent party before the Homecoming football game is the place to meet classmates and former roommates on Saturday morning. Along with yummy picnic food and a variety of cold drinks, there will be a special table for each reunion class as well as lots of fun activities for children.
You won’t want to miss the All Class Homecoming Bash on Saturday evening in the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center: special class cocktails, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, music for dancing, swanky décor, and a chance to dress up a bit and party with friends you might not have seen for quite a while.
Watch your mailboxes this summer for the Homecoming & Reunions Weekend brochure with all the details. Check the new alumni Web site (www.cuatoday.com), as well, to see how individual CUA schools, sports teams and clubs are planning to celebrate the weekend.
