The Catholic University of America

Media Relations

Whether you’re a television producer pursuing a story about Catholic University, a print reporter searching for an expert or an online news producer seeking comment on a topic in the news, the Office of Public Affairs is available to help.

The office produces and distributes news releases, calendar items, tip sheets and feature articles about CUA events, programs, research and honors.

News is posted daily on the university’s Web site.  News releases and media advisories are archived. CUA news also can be followed by subscribing to CatholicUniv on Twitter and joining The Catholic University of America on Facebook.

Expert commentary

Public affairs staff can help identify potential sources within the university community and arrange media interviews with CUA faculty, staff and students.

Catholic University offers unmatched expertise on Catholic Church history, doctrine and teaching. Educators and researchers also can speak on topical issues from urban planning to the presidency to energy issues.

Our experts are available to comment on their areas of research and offer analysis on current events. A University Experts database is searchable by topic, last name or academic department. A complete list of faculty experts and a list of foreign language speakers also are available.

To request an interview, please submit an Interview Request Form, or call one of the contacts listed in the right column of this page.

Members of the CUA community are regularly quoted by the media. Press mentions are highlighted in CUA in the Media.
