John Winslow Paintings on Exhibit at CUA Gallery

Artworks from John Winslow’s new exhibit, "John Winslow: Recent Paintings," served as the backdrop at his retirement party on Monday, March 26. The party doubled as the opening reception for the exhibit by the chairman of the Department of Art. Professor Winslow concludes 32 years with The Catholic University of America.

He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Princeton University, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art from Yale University. Since 1969, Professor Winslow has taught painting, drawing and history of American art to graduate and undergraduate students at Catholic University.

The exhibit will continue in Salve Regina Gallery through Wednesday, April 11, and is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is free and open to the public. For more information, call 202-319-5282.
