DETAILS: Geoffrey Wainwright, the Robert Earl Cushman Professor of Christian Theology at the Duke University Divinity School, has been selected as the 2003 recipient of the Washington Theological Consortium’s Annual Ecumenism Award. The Catholic University of America — a consortium member university — will host the award presentation, which will be followed by a lecture and reception. Wainwright, an ordained minister of the British Methodist Church, will speak on “Current Concerns of a Committed Ecumenist.”

The consortium is a nonprofit educational institution providing ecumenical educational opportunities for seminary students in the Washington, D.C., area.
