DETAILS: What effect has the priestly sexual abuse scandal had on young adult Catholics? Will they support Catholic schools and churches? Are they different in spirituality and life values than their parents? The CUA symposium, “Ministering to Young Adult Catholics,” will address these questions as well as evaluate the best models for ministering to this group.
During the first panel presentation, which begins at 1:45 p.m., scholars from The Catholic University of America and LeMoyne College will examine research based on national surveys of young adult Catholics today. The second panel presentation, which begins at 3:40 p.m., will focus on models of ministry for young adult Catholics.
