DETAILS:         Mark H. Tuohey III, Esq. chairman, D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission and a member of CUA’s Board of Trustees, will lead a discussion of the economic, political and social impact of professional sports on the D.C. area; the legal and business issues involved in sports law practice; and issues involved in representing professional athletes. Among other professional achievements, Tuohey has worked closely with District of Columbia Mayor Anthony Williams to bring Major League Baseball to the nation’s capital for the 2005-2006 season.
