DETAILS:         Colleen McDannell, Sterling M. McMurrin Professor of Religious Studies and professor of history at The University of Utah, will give a slide lecture on a collection of government photographs depicting religion in America during the Depression. The collection, on exhibit at CUA’s Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center from April 5 to May 28, includes 45 black-and-white photographs taken by the Historical Division of the Farm Security Administration in an effort to generate support for New Deal reforms.
