Catholic University Christmas Recess Schedule


The Catholic University of America will be closed during the Christmas recess from Dec. 22, 2005, through Jan. 2, 2006. The university will reopen for business on Tuesday, Jan. 3.


For your convenience the following schedule “What’s Closed / What’s Open at CUA During Christmas Recess” is provided:





Eugene I. Kane Student Health and Fitness Center: closed/no access Monday, Dec. 19, until Monday, Jan. 9, 2006.


Office of the President, Pryzbyla Center, Mullen Library, Office of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, Academic Deans/Administrative Offices, Administrative Offices of Student Life: closed/no access Thursday, Dec. 22, until Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006.


Raymond A. DuFour Center:  closed/no access Thursday, Dec. 22, until Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, except for scheduled basketball games, supervised basketball and swimming practices, and a registration-only baseball camp.


Columbus School of Law: closed/no access  Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, after 6 p.m.; Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25; New Year’s Eve., Saturday, Dec. 31, after 6 p.m.; and New Year’s Day, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006. 





Office of Public Safety: open/limited staff throughout Christmas recess.


Columbus School of Law: except as noted above, CSL will provide access through FACSCARD/ID during Christmas recess.


Cardinal Station Post Office: open Tuesday, Dec. 27, and Friday, Dec. 30, 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.. only.


Cashier’s Office in Leahy Hall: open for deposits only Tuesday, Dec. 27, and Friday, Dec. 30, 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.


Office of University Development: open Thursday, Dec. 22, Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday through Friday, Dec. 26-30 (LCI and Marist).


Computer Users Room (Leahy 117): open the following days and times:


            Wednesday, Dec. 21, through Friday, Dec. 23: 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. only

            Monday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 30: 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. only
