CUA Mourns Student Zack Billotte

Zack Billotte

Today Catholic University was informed of the sudden death of Zack Billotte, a second semester senior politics major from Pittsburgh, Pa. Zack was an active and well-known member of the CUA community and served as president of his class during freshman year.

"We share the heartbreak of Zack's family at the news of his sudden and untimely death, made even more sad as we begin a new year," said Very Rev. David M. O'Connell, C.M., president. "All the members of the university community who knew and loved him - his classmates and friends, his professors and other members of the staff - are devastated at the loss. As we struggle to console Zack's parents and two sisters as well as one another, I hope and pray that our faith will help strengthen and support us in this sad time. Zack was a happy, energetic, enthusiastic young man who loved life on campus and lived it to the full. May he now know the fullness of life in God's arms forever."
