CUA's Institute for Interreligious Studies and Dialogue in conjunction with the Washington Theological Consortium present a roundtable discussion "Interfaith Marriage: Challenges and Opportunities for Couples and Pastors."

The discussion will approach the topic of interfaith marriage from three perspectives: the theological, the pastoral and the perspective of the couple. Speaking on behalf of the theological perspective will be Eugene Fisher, secretariat for ecumenical and interreligious affairs at the United States Conference for Catholic Bishops. Rabbi Michael Feshbach from Temple Shalom in Chevy Chase will present the perspective of a pastor, and Mohamed and Sally Zakariya of Arlington will represent the interfaith couple. Mohamed Zakariya is Muslim and Sally Zakariya is Episcopalian.
