DETAILS:

James Rettig, president of the American Library Association, will deliver the keynote address at "Bridging the Spectrum: A Symposium on Scholarship and Practice in Library and Information Science." The event will bring together library science practitioners, students and researchers for a series of briefings and poster presentations.

Briefings and posters will consist of descriptions of innovative practices, projects or research activity in library science. Posters will be on display throughout the day, and there will be a session during which presenters will discuss their posters with attendees. Several CUA faculty and students will participate in both aspects of the symposium.
