DETAILS: The Catholic University of America’s Benjamin T. Rome School of Music will present a recital and master class by renowned pianist Dorian Leljak.


Leljak is president of the World Piano Conference and professor of piano at the University of Novi Sad, Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. He also teaches at the Royal College of Music in London.

Leljak has received multiple honors including the Yale University Mary Clapp Howell Award, Irving Gilmore Award and Parisot Prize. He has appeared in recitals and with orchestras around the world including the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, Yale Philharmonia Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic, Belgrade Radio-Television Orchestra and Yale Repertory Orchestra.

At the CUA recital, he will perform works of Rachmaninov, Chopin and Scriabin.
