WHERE: The Catholic University of America
Aquinas Hall, Room 102l

Spend the morning learning how to properly plant and care for trees from the experts at Casey Trees. After lunch, workshop participants will practice the techniques they have learned by planting 30 trees on CUA grounds.

The hours spent participating in this project can be counted toward the Cardial Service Commitment.

Students from this class are encouraged to volunteer their time to help Casey Trees plant trees around the District of Columbia, and to be leaders at community tree planting events.

Attending this class and tree planting will qualify you as a Citizen Forester.

A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for ISA certified arborists
