Dean Addresses Class of 2017 at Convocation

Students from the Class of 2017 file into the Basilica for Convocation.

At CUA’s annual Convocation, held Sept. 11 in the Great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, first-year students were formally received into the academic community. Randall Ott, dean of the School of Architecture and Planning, delivered the Convocation’s main address, titled “Many Small Disciplines – One Big Universe.” President John Garvey, Provost James Brennan, and Todd Lidh, assistant dean of undergraduate studies and director of the First-Year Experience, also spoke to the Class of 2017.
