Professional Studies School to Host Open House on June 6

The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies (MSPS) will host an open house Thursday, June 6, for prospective students in the school’s certificate, bachelor’s, and master’s programs. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Great Room A of the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center.

The open house will feature a new video about the school as well as information on advising, admissions, and financial aid questions. Breakout sessions will cover the various academic programs offered by MSPS.

During the open house, the school’s admissions committee will offer immediate feedback to undergraduate students who bring all of their application materials.

MSPS offers educational resources and programs of the University to adult students who want to pursue academic and professional credentials. The school’s individual programs are designed with a maximum of flexibility to meet the special needs of adult students. Classes are offered in accelerated, evening, and online formats to accommodate the schedules of working adults. MSPS also works with business and professional groups to meet the professional updating and certification needs of their members.

“Wherever people are in their professional careers — whether it’s time for a career change in a new field or a promotion into a leadership position within their current field — we offer educational programs that can help them achieve their goals,” says Dean Sara Thompson.

MSPS also will offer an information session on its academic programs on Thursday, July 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
