  • MILITARY NURSES — Janice Agazio, associate professor of nursing, is an expert on the challenges in nursing practice during wartime, the deployment of military mothers during wartime, military family issues, and the factors of a healthy lifestyle in active-duty military spouses.

With funding from the Triservice Nursing Research Program, Agazio is currently researching the ways that Air Force, Army, and Navy nurses identify, assess, manage, and personally resolve ethical issues occurring in nursing practice during wartime deployments.

Agazio has been interviewed by U.S. Medicine.
